Sea Leather Wear is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is a marketing branch for a Canadian company that has been involved in fish leather manufacturing for over 15 years. We offer suede and glazed fish leather skins for custom manufacturing. We also offer manufactured golf gloves, watch bands and mens and ladies belts. These products have been manufactured using our fish leather skins.

Fish leather has been a relatively new development taking place in the tanning industry over the last 20 years. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to other leathers, manufactured from skins that are normally discarded by canneries.

The leather can be used for anything that traditional leathers have been used to manufacture - footwear, jackets, gloves, belts, wallets, purses, and many other apparel and accessories. Each skin is unique and no two products are identical.

We offer these skins in either a ruffled suede or a glazed finish. Our fish leather skins have been used by others to manufacture a broad range of apparel and accessories. We are also offering sample kits of our skins, which include a whole skin plus a quantity of color swatches, and these are available in either the suede or glazed or a combination packet. The purchase of a sample packet can be applied as a credit toward a further skins purchase. The packets can be purchased directly on our website.

Sea Leather Wear appreciates that leather is a product with a history going back thousands of years. We do not claim to be one of the pioneers in leather tanning. We do claim to be one of the few companies worldwide that have successfully manufactured and marketed leather tanned from marine species.
